We offer free limited notary services. Please call 920-832-6179 before coming to the library to confirm staff availability.

Our notary publics can provide the following services:

• Signature witnessing
• Copy certification

Our notary publics are prohibited from certifying I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification forms or vital records (e.g., certificates of birth, death, divorce, annulment, marriage).

You must provide a valid (not expired) government-issued ID to receive notary services.

The City of Appleton Clerk’s Office also provides free notary services from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Clerk’s Office is on the sixth floor of city hall at 100 N. Appleton Street.
