Web Services
The system provides the following web services for OWLS member libraries:
- server space for library web sites
- two WebEvent calendars per site hosted on OWLS server (ending as of April 2009)
- web site design
- web design classes by request
- one-on-one web design training
- one free Dreamweaver license per library (in the process of moving all library sites to Drupal - Dreamweaver will no longer be needed)
- monthly site usage reports
- domain name registration
- Webmeister meetings
These services are provided
at no cost to the libraries (with the exception of domain name registrations). Sites hosted on the OWLS web server must comply with the OWLS Web Services Policy [pdf].
