Library Assistant - Clintonville Public Library
The Clintonville Public Library is looking for a full time exempt/salaried Library Assistant employee to organize and conduct library services in several areas of responsibility, including but not limited to circulation, interlibrary loan, and technical services. The position includes supervisory and decision-making responsibilities. Applicant must have library and computer training experience. Training in the OWLSnet Automation System is preferred.
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred/High school diploma or equivalent, as demonstrated by prior work experience or documented accomplishments will be considered. Library course work in selection, organization of materials, and reference and information services is also preferred. Management and supervisory responsibility or two years of progressively more responsible library management experience preferred.Hours: to be established, some nights and weekends may be required.
Salary range $25,000-30,000 depending on qualifications, excellent fringe benefits, 15 mile from City Hall residency requirement.
